The Complementary Income Insurance

• Compensation is paid with 80 percent of maximum 100 000 SEK/month
• Compensation is paid for a 140 day-period
• Compensation is paid after a qualifying period of 7 days  

Eligibility requirements for compensation from the Income Insurance:

• You have to be a member of Akademikerförbundet SSR for at least 18 month prior to unemployment
• You must have been employed during at least 12 of the last 18 months prior to unemployment with a minimum of 80 working hours per month
• You must be a member of, and eligible for compensation from, the Unemployment Fund (Akademikernas Erkända Arbetslöshetskassa, AEA)
