The Complementary Income Insurance
- Compensation is paid with 80 percent of maximum 80 000 SEK/month, which gives maximum 40 000 SEK in compensation
- Compensation is paid for a 120 day-period (24 weeks, 6 months)
- The Complementary Income Insurance has the same qualification period as the Unemployment Fund
Eligibility requirements for compensation from the Complementary Income Insurance:
You have to be a member of Naturvetarna for at least 12 month prior to unemployment
You must have been employed during at least 12 of the last 18 months prior to unemployment with a minimum of 80 working hours per month
You must be a member of, and eligible for compensation from, the Unemployment Fund (Akademikernas Erkända Arbetslöshetskassa, AEA)
